The guys are playing this game for the rest of the year at the fire station. Each month you have to bring in up to 15 "logo" pens... freebies.... from the insurance guy, local doctor offices, newspapers, etc. ANY advertisement logo pen.

Here's the barter..... send me your logo pens. I need at least 200 of them! But I will take MORE!!! Try not to duplicate to many of the same kind because I can't turn in more than one of each kind.

This is what you will get in return. For 10 pens (no duplicates) I will send you a handmade scrubbie. For 20 pens, I will add in a crocheted dishcloth. For more... you get more... a jar of homemade jam, a cute tote bag, a custom apron or any number of handmade, homemade surprises.

Help me win!!

Send your pens to

Angie Riggsby
P O Box 682
Buckley WA 98321

When I get them.... I will send you something back right away.

C'mon Farmgirl sisters.... help me show up those guys!!

Do what you love, love what you do.

I know I am probably late to the game, but I am new to the Mary Jane's Farm webstie. I was so excited when I saw your post on the "barter" page. It looked like a fun project. I know you probably have more than 200 by now, but I put 10 pens in the mail to you today. I have friends and coworkers who have promised to bring me more this week. I'll send the second round soon. Thanks for the pen-venture!

Angie - A belated thanks for the scrubbie and what I'm using as a potholder.

Do you need any more pens? I can have a "pens for the media center contest" at my elementary school and share the wealth (goodness only knows the Media Center needs all of the writing instruments it can find...ours always seem to disappear along with scissors and tape and staplers and paperclips and glue sticks...)

Please forgive the delay in my great BIG thank you. I have started a short term job at a local nursery and I am there ALOT!!!! I got your package last Thursday (I think) and it was such a lovely surprise. Thank you so very much for the lovely scrubbies and tote (love the pocket). Both are wonderful and so beautifully done. I am going to share a scrubbie with my friend who collected up all the farm related pens. I am sure she will be surprised and pleased as well. Thank you again :-)

Hi, Angie! I sent out an envelope of pens last week. Hope you got them! If nothing else,I got some strange looks from the postmaster! I just gently explained that there wasn't much he could put past us farmgirls, then grinned about it all the way home!
