The guys are playing this game for the rest of the year at the fire station. Each month you have to bring in up to 15 "logo" pens... freebies.... from the insurance guy, local doctor offices, newspapers, etc. ANY advertisement logo pen.
Here's the barter..... send me your logo pens. I need at least 200 of them! But I will take MORE!!! Try not to duplicate to many of the same kind because I can't turn in more than one of each kind.
This is what you will get in return. For 10 pens (no duplicates) I will send you a handmade scrubbie. For 20 pens, I will add in a crocheted dishcloth. For more... you get more... a jar of homemade jam, a cute tote bag, a custom apron or any number of handmade, homemade surprises.

Sounds fun! I'll see how many I can come up with. Can it be same logo, different pen? Or does it have to be all unique logos?

Preferably they all need to be different. But I can take a few of the same and trade them with other people. =)

Ha! I was about to send you a small pile when family called and it came up what I was doing, so now I have three other family members on the hunt for you! In a couple weeks I will send you what we can all put together. In these parts there are SO many of these pens, it's silly. And I really like the idea of showign up those guys at their own game :)

This is funny because when my kids were growing up they always complained because there pens were"stolen" pens from places. Let me see what I can find too.  Is it just pens or do pencil work too.

I will be on the hunt for you. I know someone who works at a Dr's office and gets pens from drug reps... crazy ones for Viagra etc. I'll see what I can do. You are so going to win this contest with your farmgirl friends helping.

Drugs pens with different logos are great. Canadian pens are wonderful. I don't think the pencils count, but I can certainly make a case for them as well as the markers! Bring it on. =)
