I'm looking for a water bath canner that has a thermometer so I can monitor temperature. I need it for making persnickity salt-rising bread that has to be kept at a constant temperature. If anyone has one they can part with, let me know! Thanks

Deana, I'm going to try that and see if it works. I've had mixed results using an oven light left on - sometimes that works and sometimes not. I'll post how it goes with the crockpot.

Can you use a crockpot/slow cooker with a low setting? Airtight and thermostat control.

well, it has to sit overnight, so it has to be something that can plug in and regulate the temperature. I think a pressure cooker might be too hot - it can only be about 100 degrees - but I'll check into that idea. Thanks!

can you use a regular water bath canner and attach a thermometer or maybe is it possible to use a pressure cooker? I've never heard of a canner with a thermometer already on it.
Hope you find what you are looking for.
:)
