Howdy y'all,

Anyone interested in a cowgirl theme apron swap? I'm having so much fun with the Halloween apron that I'd love to have a cowgirl one to taking glamping (glamour camping) in my vintage cowboy-themed camper.

After seeing the western mini aprons that were swapped back in 2008 (see picture below) I think we should add western and/or cowboys to our cowgirl theme. There is some cowboylicious fabric out there!

Signup by Friday, September 4 and aprons will be due to be mailed by November 1. We'll leave it up to swap partners to decide if they want full or half aprons. The swap will include a "tuck", which is a special little gift tucked in with the apron. The "tuck" should be something(s) cowgirl themed and up to $15. Anything I missed?

Sally

Here's a status update! Remember to mail your aprons out by Monday!!!

Hey! I am posting a photo of the apron that I made for Michelle (Futters) for this swap featuring me as the model. I haven't had a chance yet to get a photo of the apron she made for me, but will get it posted as soon as I can.

this is a close-up of the applique'. . .

This was great fun - thanks for letting me participate!

Sorry, I can't seem to figure out how to get the photos smaller :-( I'll keep working on it.

Yep, I luv 'em......
I forgot to mention, the cute little note cards, (orange w/the dog) are origional art work by Sally...she is so talented..... oh and the little stripped note keeper, actually looks like a match book but when you open it, it has little sheets of paper...perfect for writting down a ph# or note or what ever, w/o taking up any space in ones handbag.
If you go to my trailer blog you can click on the pictues and get a closer look.

Howdy buckarettes,

If you haven't seen the fabulous apron and goodies over at Grace's blogspot please stop over and see them...

Grace,
I love the apron! I have actually been searching for another fabric in that line of Roy Rogers, Happy Trails pattern...so you picked the perfect fabric. All the little extras are just wonderful. I really love the route 66 fabric...I have a Corvette and I've been collecting fabric with Corvettes on it to make a blanket to put in the car for impromptu picnics or the such! I just love everything!

Thank you so much for bringing a little sunshine to me right now. :o)

Hugs to you...

Sally

P.S. Yours will be on its way soon!
