Anyone interested in a embroidery block swap?
Say 8 1/2" size on unbleeched muslin and we would do it in groups of 4. Sign up more then once if you want.
This would be for machine or hand embroidery.
Embroidery of block your choice. Embroidered signature and screen name and date. Make sure you leave a 1/4 inch around all edges so they can be joined together. Just pick a simple design. Have fun
Blocks mailed to me by June 29 (meaning this is last day to mail) Please let me know on this thread when mailed. E mail me when done.
Inside a self addressed envelope same size and enough for postage.

Hi Everyone!! Received mine and they are wonderful!!!! Now I am trying to decide what I will create with them. I am leaning towards a special pillow for my chair, just for me!! You all did such beautiful work!!

Glad you got them Judith enjoy. No worries about postage I had to use Canadian thats what happened. PO is difficult to deal with sometimes. I am not worried it all works out I may need you to cover mine sometime so don't sweat the small stuff I am not.
They moved a little faster going from here though glad to see.

 Just arrived home from a night meeting. Guess what was awaiting? You are so right? I looooove the embroidered quilt blocks, ladies! Each one is so unique...just like each one of us! Joanna yes your blocks are here. Have company so will mail out likely tomorrow. I am sorry received a couple of days ago. I will post as soon as I get them out.
They are all wonderful blocks hope yous enjoy them.

Thanks for the reassurance! Hope to hear you got them the first of the week then. You have inspired me though. I am now working on a set of 8 blocks. It's very relaxing in the evening, while hubby is watching ball games. At least we are in the same room.

Judith don't worry they will make it. It takes over a week-we have 5 day mail and there was a holiday here and one there so that sets it back. I am sure it is still pony express here.
Michelle your to sweet- sometimes I draw them others I print out-depends on what I want it for. Your blocks are wonderful thankyou

Carrie, you are so full of beans! I have one of yours from a previous swap and you're a great stitcher! I love it. Made me think I ought to design my own. I loved the originality of the one you sent me before. Did you design your own? Or do you have a wonderful eye for choosing darling patterns?
