Soapmommy60543 (I mean Ann) posted about Stashaholics Anonymous and got me thinking...anyone interested in a swaparound for Stashaholics? We will be sending a box of crafty things (where you put back in the box the same number of things you took out) around the country. There has to be someone out there who can use my stuff!

It is lost never to be seen again. : (

Unless.. someone just happens to find it and send it on its way.

I sent it out a couple of weeks ago to...someone in Southern California....I can't remember the name.

Hope it made it!

I've also wondered what happened to it. I asked to be put at the end of the list way back because I was going to be gone in April and May but I didn't realize it would be this long a list.

Glenda, I don't know! I mailed it out a few days after I got it and that is the last I heard of it! It went west from my place!

Glenda, No problem about the postage!! It wasn't much at all and it was so, so fun to get! It was a bit more because technically flat rate applies to whatever will fit inside without making the box bulge and I have to say it was bulging! I mailed it out last week so the next person should have it by now!

Sorry about the postage due Monica. What happened to flat rate? Glad you are enjoying.

Well the box has officially arrived in Arizona!!! I have to say that it was jammed packed! There was postage due on it when I got it because of it being soooooo full, but that was okay because I am just so excited to finally get it! There are some wonderful things in it! I got a new box to ship everything out in and I will try to get it out in the mail tomorrow! I will have to dig out some fun stuff to go in it! I have to say that's it's been quite a while since we first started this, but it was so fun to kind of forget about it and then one day getting this little box in the mail! What a wonderful surprise at the Post Office!

Well the little box has been in THE BIG STATE. I got it covered over with tape and had to cut it open a little to get everything in I wanted to add. I loved all the vintage stuff so that is what I kept. I didn't have alot of stuff for sewing, but I did add stuff for scrappers. This was great fun and I especially loved reading all the places the box had been and where it is going. I received it one day and sent it off the next all covered over with more tape. I think I may have forgotten to cross my name off the list so maybe someone on down the line could do it for me. Thanks for letting me be part of this and if we do another craft swap I would like to be in. Glenda Golden

Lucy-
I understand completely- I am forever buying- I always think that I will use it and then I find it later and wonder why I bought it. My daughter and her friends have a blast creating at our house- so many treasures- so little time!!

I think this is such a neat idea!! how do I join in? What are the details again? I have TONS of "stuff" lots of scrappy old things and lots of new things too! I see something and think i can use it to be creative and end up with bits and peices of... "you name it!" Lucy

Lynn, I got the craft box in the mail today. It's heading West to a big state. I had to get a new box. My PO is getting very particular. They said it had too much tape and the box wouldn't shut on it's own anymore without being held shut with tape. I told her it's been all around the country for 6 months. No wonder. So it's headed out again in a brand new pretty box.

Hey Lynn I emailed you about the swap boxes I have an idea.
LynnMarie Posted - Jul 22 2009 : 2:20:04 PM
Well, this idea started back in February. I had no idea it would take so long to get back to me. In fact, I have two craft swap arounds and one sewing swap around floating out there somewhere. One is stuck in limbo somewhere and two are moving slowly.

IF I do another swap, I'll add both your names to the list, ok?
