I think we need to start thinking about signing up for the second round of secret pals since the first circle will be ending on Valentine's Day and maybe the second can start on Valentine's Day? Anyway, this time around I don't think I can be one of the leaders since I just have zero free time lately. I still want to participate though. Is there anyone else willing to be the group leader and get the second round started?

Hi all, I tried to join in on this was did not realize I asked just after the cut off date. Was going to wait till the next go around. This morning I received a note having a message here but I don't see one. If by chance I was included I never heard from anyone nor was I given the name of a Secret Pal. If I was included and didn't get the information just let me know and I would be more than happy to send something out to anyone it would just be a little late.

If I'm responding twice, please forgive me. I responded a few days ago but not sure my response showed up and y'all are going fast and furious on this topic -smile.
THANKS to my secret pal for the beautiful napkins. They are a lovely floral with soft green background and beautiful flowers...they are perfect for my little tea table and an afternoon break. I'm saving the larger dinner napkins for company, at least I think I am. Perhaps not though as I'm a believer in using stuff and not saving stuff.
THANKS secret pal!

Lynn, Glad you liked everything. Like I said better late than never. I hope my secret pal sender is ok. I haven't heard anything from her.

I am going to sit out the next couple of SP rounds and get myself together. I am starting classes in August again, hopefully settling on the roofing lawsuit soon, and deciding what in the world we are going to do with Lliam and school. He's been permanently suspended from his regular school district. I know homeschooling is a great option, but I'm just not up to it. I get so frustrated with his moodswings.

I check back in a couple weeks.....

hugs to all,

I received the most wonderful box of goodies from my secret pal Lora. Oh my gosh, two totes (using one already), a flower press (I've wanted one for years-kept meaning to make myself one), a necklace and earrings (now I need to go somewhere great to wear such a pretty set), cosmetic bag (always useful), fabric coasters (always needed), a beehive candle (love candles), and gourd seeds (yea, gardening). I hope I didn't forget anything.

You made my week girlfriend! Thanks. I wasn't expecting anything knowing life is rough for you right now.

Iwould like to thank my Secret pal.. Tammy Perkins ( farmmom22) I received you over flowing parcel and love everything. I had totally forgotten about receiving a gift and the revelation. I know that my own secret pal is wondering who I am , I am not an absent minded person as a rule... I have emailed her. I must apologize for my forgetfulness, I am sorry. I had a few things going on the past couple months, a death , 2 out of state graduations, and my mom's illness. I know that may be a lame excuse but it is the fact . Your parcel was mailed today to your PO Box address.. I hope it will brighten your day.

Hey Carla, I hope the little surprises brought a little brightness during your rough days. Think of it all this way ... as a new beginning, a clean slate, a blank canvas, etc.; a reason to start something new.

A question I often ask people is ... What is the one thing you've always wanted to do that you haven't done yet? This has nothing to do with your friends or family, it is just about you. So Carla, maybe by answering this question, you will be on the path to a new career, or at least having some fun. LOL

Your Secret Pal,
LynnMarie

Carla, I bet we all know things can be overwhelming! I know, it happened to me too. So don't worry. I also hope my secret sis will reveal herself. It is oke whether she does or not. I received a very pretty cute vintage card from her and I still have it on display in my curio. Not heard from her after that but like I said, things happen that are beyond our control. I won't participate in SS no 3 but maybe in no 4 I will give it another try. And you are right, just to know someone out there is thinking about you and maybe praying is worth a million little gifts :)

Hugs and prayers from Marian. Hope you will find another job. I had many troubles with my previous one and am so glad I found the one I have now, a mail carrier.

LynnMarie,
Thank you so much for being my secret pal/sister. I have just been through one of the hardest times in my life these past 8 months. I thought doing the secret pal thing would be a great diversion and have failed miserably in my correspondence. The end of this story is tomorrow will be my last day of work, needed a box today to take to work to gather my things from my desk. I am the second to last to leave my job due to lay off. The box is the one you sent last with the lovely things you made for me and I thank you for that and the box needed. Bitter sweet you see. A lovely box of gifts and the box for packing up my work things. I thank you for this understanding. I am thankful in learning from MJF, that I can rely on myself to survive with minimal needs. It's just the emotional trauma that is most hard to work through.

I have yet to finish what I really wanted to do for the person whose name I have and will do that next week,as I just need some time right now. I found that I am more of a private person than I thought and found being so public on this forum was not really to my liking, I'm sorry. Please forgive me.

I've heard from mine, thanks so much Mary Smith for the sweet letter and seeds, it's been a treat getting to know you and a return letter is in the works! I've misplaced my info. on my secret sister but once I find it, I too will reveal myself to her in a letter. Life does take over this time of the year with gardens and games but I'm sure we all started this with a good heart. I enjoyed it alot and I hope my SS did too!

I still don't know either who my secret sis was :(. But I guess, just like with me, life got the better of her, hope she is doing fine. Sue, something will be on it's way to you soon. You KNOW I was your SS and had to bow out too soon, still am so sorry about that :( That is why I am not part. this time. Maybe a next time, when ALL my money problems are in the past I will be able to be a better secret sis #9829;

You are so welcome Melissa! I am glad you got the package o.k. and that it cheered you a little. I think it is wonderful when when we can touch each others lives even when we are miles apart. Just like sisters should!!

I saw your posting about not knowing your secret sis and couldn't reply because I knew it was in transit. hee!hee! Blessings. Pam
