Alee is doing the most thoughtful thing for a farm family that went out of the dairy business. They have milk bottles in various sizes, and Alee is selling them to help these folks out. So sweet! I missed her post under dairy critters, and thought maybe others might have missed out on this great opportunity too. Even just a few on your doorstep might give you and guests an excuse to smile.

Sorry to "rat you out" Alee, but the cause is so good, and the bottles are just darling. Thought a wider audience might help.

Alee...my milk bottles came today!!!!!!!!!! Ohhhh my gosh...they are soooooo cute! I just love them! Now I want two pints if they are still available. And a big hug and thank you for the sheets!
I am a quilter and will definitely use those for backings on pillows and wall quilts! Let me know about the pints...and thank you again!
Ohhh...and after the story publishes, I will be able to put it on my website, coz I kept first rights. So you can read it then.. ;) Kate

Unlike UPS and FedEx, the post office tracking does not show the package in transit, only when it's mailed and when it reaches the destination post office.
I'm waiting on a $400 claim for a package that got to the destination, but the contents was gone and the box taped back together. They don't get into any hurry on processing claims.

Talitha-

I just checked on your package. It looks like my post office LOST it! The only information on the tracking was that I gave the package to them....then...nothing. I am going to be lodging a complaint tomorrow and will pick up some replacement bottles for you on Tuesday which is the next time I am going out to the dairy.

So Sorry! I will use Fed-Ex next time. They are much better!

I've gone milk crazy. I bought one of the porch milk coolers for my bottles. :) Went antiquing today and kept pointing out milk things I'd never noticed before. Thanks for sharing this bit of nostalgia!

hi alee; I live in Newport so I'm very close to you. I would be interested in buying 6 pints, 4 quarts, & 4 half gallons and I can come get them or have you mail them. Please let me know which one you'd like to do. My email is hot_nana8888 @ yahoo. Have a wonderful day and this is a very cool idea to do for them!

No Problem Vicki! It is so fun to go out to the old dairy. I should take pictures of some of the old dairy trucks and stuff that they have out there. I want to go digging in their "junk" piles some day!

Sunshine-

I am not sure how many different logos there are since they are in a huge heap at the old dairy. It really is like a treasure hunt.

At my house right now I have 5 different types of red logos, 2 different types of Orange logos and one that had the green writing in the small print like is pictured on the other thread. I can always go back and look for more- but I have no idea what is at the dairy. I just know that there are more. I did see one today that was green and more red and orange ones.

Sunshine- There are

Half Gallons that are printed that come in:
Green
Orange
Red (several shades of red and different logos and patterns it just depends on what I can find)
I might be able to find a blue/teal but I can't promise that one- but I will sure look!

Then there are Plain
Half gallons
Quarts
Pints

So there are 4 different types of bottles and several different colors for the printed half gallons. I hope that makes sense.

Sunshine-

All the prints are different. I have multiples of the "Cole Farm" one that is pictured on the other thread. What happened was this dairy bought bottles from other dairies when they closed so some of the bottles are the same-but there are lots that are different. I can find you four fun and funky ones with writing on them. Just let me know your color preference- green, red, orange or blue. I am not sure how many of the blue ones that I will find though.

Hi ladies!

I just got back from the old Dairy. We are having a hard time finding Half-Pints. So for right now sales on Half-Pints are on hold-

However- We did find more printed half-gallons (a few) so we have printed half gallons, plain half gallons, quarts and pints still for sale.

Thanks!
