Posted - May 25 2010 : 3:25:23 PM I'm sure this topic is already addressed but I feel so badly, I don't have the patience to search. I've been on 2 inhalers for weeks now. Two 26-hour flights in 3 weeks have taken their toll on my poor lungs. I really object to medications (surely I get enough chemicals in my body on a daily basis without breathing them in) and one of the inhalers is a steroid. What else can I do?

Posted - Jun 01 2010 : 8:21:53 PM Mom used to make us take horehound tea. Taste horrible but helped. My daughter drinks lots of lemon water and doesnt seem to need the inhaler as often |

Posted - May 30 2010 : 4:47:33 PM Drink a tbsp of Braggs ACV in a cup of water two to three times a day. It helps me and I only use my inhaler for "resuce" situations now.

Posted - May 29 2010 : 1:48:25 PM Ashma is tough. I've found that exercising (inside on a treadmill) and trying to get my lungs as fit as possible helps me. But I would talk to an MD. and find out what he/she recommends. If you don't like their answer, see a pulmonologist. good luck! dana
