Oh my little girl! She is so so very sick right now. My heart just aches for her. She has double bacterial pink eye, a raging ear infection in both ears, and a horrible sinus infection! She just got off a round of antibiotics not too long ago and now is right back on them again. Poor kid! I feel so bad for her. She is having a hard time sleeping because her eyes hurt so much!

Poor thing. It breaks my heart to see the little ones in such pain. My son went through something similar about a year ago. I think I cried as much as he did. I'll keep you both in my prayers.

Thanks ladies! Nora is feeling so much better! She got to go back to day care today and was so happy to see her little friends. Her eyes have cleared up and she doesn't have a runny nose any more. She still blows her nose a bit more frequently than normal but it's coming along. She is still sleeping a lot and more deeply than usual but that's good for her body too. Over all I am so thankful for modern medicines in instances like this!

Glad to hear she is doing better, Alee. I just now saw this thread. I hope she will be on the whole mend quickly. I know what's it like when little ones are sick. It is just heartaching.

Nora is doing lots better today- thank you all for the well wishes. The medicines are doing their thing and her amazing body is doing its! Her eye lids are healing- the tissue is looking much more healthy at a peachish pink color instead of bloody red. The swelling around her eyes is down as well. Her nose is still running and she still has a cough but thankfully I can see an improvement there too! And even though it is a little too late we found our collodial silver too! I wish I could have found that for her eyes before now!

Alee, I am so sorry to hear that Nora has all this! I know if I were you, I'd be in a fit over it. I get upset when my little baby-dog is sick so I can imagine when I have my own daughter. I'll be praying.

LOL Yes- she wanted her hair up in a pony tail but wanted me to use BOTH the hair things she brought me so I did a high pony and then braided it and wrapped the braid around the base of te pony for braided bun. She kept touching the top knot and it made the little hairs start to poke out! LOL I am just glad she was feeling good enough to want to play! She really doesn't like her eye drops but I can see a huge improvement already- no more huge globs of gunk coming out.

Marly- she was running a low grade fever- only 99.5 so that was good and bad- her body hadn't really clued in that she was sick yet. I am going to upload a picture of her today- she was feeling much better after a day home with daddy!

She seems to be doing better today. Her eye lids are still really raw on the inside but better than yesterday. I am hopeful that the medicines will keep doing their thing and she will be back to her self soon!

Hugs to you and your little one
Please keep up on the ear infections
I have lost most of my hearing in both ears due to ear infections and ear drums bursting
very painful and bleeding
Strange thing is I had them as a kid but not quite as bad as I did when I got to be an adult
I know they say weather doesn't have any thing to do with it; but
when it is cold and windy/ or just plain windy
be sure that Nora wears ear Muffs
Make sure they are snug against her little ears too.
I have to wear mine a lot even in warmer weather when the wind is blowing.
I get funny looks ; but it is better than my ear drums bursting !
