Posted - Jul 08 2008 : 12:39:03 PM The Fly Wave - sure to get your arms in shape and keep the horse flies away while you walk! Hitting the flies is half the fun!
Method: Alternate your arms above your head in a swooping action so as to keep any pesty flies away - you might give them more misery than they are trying to give you! Sure to get your arms in shape and make you look like a crazy person while protecting yourself!
Ok, was on my treadmill this am and it completely stopped on me. Big bummer - might be the motor. Anyhow, I wasn't ready to stop, so I asked my son to watch his sisters for 30 min. while I walked the trail that surrounds a development behind my house. The trail is beautiful and I just have to go thru our back meadow to reach it. While hiking the 2 miles thru woods, prarie, and hills, the horse flies got to be quite bad in an area. Resulting in the amazing discovery of this new great exercise!

Posted - Jul 08 2008 : 12:53:08 PM I agree, and I'd always rather be outside too - but with little ones and LONG Michigan winters - a treadmill is a gift!
