Posted - Nov 01 2011 : 4:09:38 PM I think I subscribed back in April or May, I was wondering about how long it takes to start receiving magazines? I keep hearing about awesome fall and holiday magazines, and wish I would get them. I hate to go buy them off the news stand, and then later get it in the mail. But, each month I keep looking in my mail box and don't get any........:(

Posted - Dec 07 2011 : 1:21:17 PM Hi Kathryn,
In August we switched the company that handles our magazine mailing list and toll free subscription line. For some time we had received complaints about subscribers having difficulties such as yours. We moved the mailing list to a smaller company based in Big Sandy, TX. I am very happy that the new company seems to be making fewer errors and responding to any concerns in a more efficient manner.
Providing skilled and responsive customer service for subscribers is something that the magazine industry struggles with on a daily basis. One of the big roadblocks is that magazine content is priced very low. This leads to companies that manage mail lists not always having all of the resources they need. I am always happy to be a more direct link for any customer questions or concern. I work Monday through Friday 9 - 5 Pacific time. I'm usually the person who answers the phone so I encourage you to give me a call at 888-750-6004.
I am very sorry that you have had so many problems getting the subscription. Please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to get everything squared away.
Thanks,
~Brian |

Posted - Dec 02 2011 : 1:30:39 PM I have been having a terrible time receiving my issues, every year I have to contact customer service and straighten it out between my Mom's gift subscription and my own renewal,I am recently contacting customer service again to get my subscription started,it has become an annual thing for us,I get promised replacement issues or another issue added on to the end of the subscription to replace missing issues and every year we get shorted the promised replacement issue and when i renew I have to contact customer service multiple times to get it started,I love the magazine but am considering canceling and just buying it off the newsstand for both my Mom and I so I can be sure we're getting the issues that we pay for and not having to go through a big hassle.
