What a surprise I had in my Post Office Box this morning. My MJF Feb/March Issue was there and it is a very good issue. Lots of information about chickens.

Hope everyone gets their issues soon. Have a good weekend.

I loved the article on treadle sewing machines. I just got my grandmother's and with a new belt and a little cleaning I think it will work like a charm. I'm hoping to work on some of my badges with it!

Mine came to me this month with "wear" before I even got a chance to open the cover. Don't know what the post office did with it, but it was torn in two places through page 34. Enjoyed the heck out of it anyway. lol

I am a "magazineaholic" and I have to say that MaryJanes magazines are the only ones that show wear. I can read them from cover to cover and pick it up a week later and do the same thing. It's a beautiful magazine and a thrill to find in the mailbox!

I finally gave in and tracked a Jan/Feb edition down (thank you Barnes and Noble!) because I could not wait! I orderd my subscription in late December, but have not received my first copy (if I get a duplicate, there are many I could share it with.) I also picked up the floss and other things to work on my membership badge. I also picked up 2 tatting shuttles so I could work on that badge. I am working on my "Buttoned Up" badge and have the beginner level and am working on my intermediate level already. I have told so many friends about Mary Jane's, the magazine and the website - I love it and think they would too.

I'm waiting for mine too!!! I received the Christmas issue last week(new subscriber), and since I already had it, I sent it to my daughter in Alabama.
I was in the store today and saw the new issue- boy did I want to buy it! I'll be patient though, I'm sure it will be here soon!

Beth,

Instead of getting two of the same one and giving one away, why don't you call the subscription department and see if they won't add your friend's gift subscription onto the end of your current subscription to give you next year?

I ahevn't gotten mine either and I am a new subscriber :( There is no pace to buy it here either :(

I got a gift subscription from Cathy McNabb for Christmas! What a thoughtful gift. My first issue came the other day and I haven't put the magazine down yet. It is so wonderful and has inspired me so much. I can't wait to start painting and stenciling some furniture! Today I got the Christmas issue in the mail and I've spend the last two hours reading that. This magazine just keeps getting better and better.

I'm always so envious when you ladies get your magazines early. Mine usually shows up around the 12th. Can't wait!

Hi, received mine today with a bit of a surprise. Apparently my friend subscribed for me to MJF. So I got two copies. If anyone out there needs one let me know. I love the mag. but I don't need two.

JulieJ,
The Dec/Jan 2010 Issue is pink with a little green trim. There is a vintage santa and little girl holding a bowl with bubbles on the cover, the title is "Old Fashioned Christmas"

Hope that helps,
Hannah
