Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 06:44:02 AM I thought I'd share this, because I'm still tickled about it...My elderly friend who lives way out in the county called me here at the office yesterday to tell me this: She couldn't sleep, so about 3:00 in the morning, she got up to go get some warm milk and, while she was standing in her robe, sipping her milk, she looked out the curtain into the front yard. They have always had this "fake" deer family out front, and the cement fawns finally succumbed to years of weather, so all that was left was the doe. She said she rubbed her eyes, and rubbed her eyes, because she was looking at a BIG buck with the "doe" and he was, well, you know--quite enamoured of her, and was attempting to, well, you know. So, she said, "I just closed the curtains because, well, I just didn't think it was any of my business..." but when she went out in the morning, the "doe" was busted into pieces!! Some tryst! All I could think about was what was going through his mind...."that gal's been looking at me ALL day. I think she wants me. I'm going to go over there and see what's shakin'...." Oh, such misguided love!!!
Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet. |

Posted - Nov 17 2006 : 06:58:24 AM He probably felt the doe was being rude by giving him the cold shoulder so he bashed her! Especially after all that coy behavior at first! That is just too funny!!
