Posted - Feb 21 2013 : 11:49:45 AM Ladies...... Sugar Plum, sorry our Jersey, delivered with just a little help a beautiful big bull calf! Number 2!!!!!! Sugar Plum is a heifer so NOT bad for the size of calf! He's having a wee bit of trouble but he's up & active so that's half the battle. Just more work to get him full. The wind is down so the temps are warmer today. What a blessing!!! Everybody is tuck in under heat lamps.
The "barn" sounds are so peaceful! Moms softly mooing to their babies! It's one the best sound in the world!
Number 3 & 4 could be any time! Love to have a quiet day, 2 hours of sleep is just too little any more for this grey hair FG, but then again it's like pulling off a band aide.....do it fast! Pics are coming Hugs Judy PS.....6 piglets are arriving any time to use up some of the milk!
