Marly--no. It's just what I wrote. Perhaps it should have said animal lovers, but since I'm so inclined towards dogs that what came out of my fingers first.
What are you trying to insinuate?

Why is it that when I see all of the destruction and human suffering in Japan (or anywhere), it tears at my heart..but when I see dogs suffering I turn into a blubbering mess?? |

You're very welcome, Maggie. I found it completely and utterly moving on so many levels. With such human tragedy, it's sometimes difficult to remember that animals suffer loss and feel pain, too. I am happy for their positive end, though who knows if they have living owners to rejoin them when it's all said and done.
