I will provide this with a warning--thought the outcome of this video is happy, the emotion that the video conveys once again how animals could actually teach humans compassion.

You're very welcome, Maggie. I found it completely and utterly moving on so many levels. With such human tragedy, it's sometimes difficult to remember that animals suffer loss and feel pain, too. I am happy for their positive end, though who knows if they have living owners to rejoin them when it's all said and done.

Thanks for posting this. So touching. I just love dogs and I'm so happy they both survived.

For dog lovers only, is that meant as a snark towards someone???

Why is it that when I see all of the destruction and human suffering in Japan (or anywhere), it tears at my heart..but when I see dogs suffering I turn into a blubbering mess??

I'm glad everyone enjoyed this...it seemed like something folks who love and understand animals would "get" and you all did.

Marly--no. It's just what I wrote. Perhaps it should have said animal lovers, but since I'm so inclined towards dogs that what came out of my fingers first.

What are you trying to insinuate?
