Posted - Mar 19 2010 : 10:44:23 AM Amy, that is too cute! They do grow up and get over things more than we think they can. That's great. Nothing like his very own pet roo to change his way of thinking. I love the picture of him sleeping on Colton'e leg.

Posted - Mar 19 2010 : 09:19:25 AM Amy, that rooster is so handsome! I love the picture of the roo sitting contently on Iggy's leg. It shows the trust of both of them in each other.....so cool.

Posted - Mar 19 2010 : 07:06:28 AM So wonderful, now Iggy knows that not all roos are bad chickens. What kind of chickens are you getting? Have you thought of bantams, they are usually very gentle and quick to become pets. Also, those tiny eggs, fried up fit perfectly on a biscuit. My Hubby calls 'em "biscuit eggs" so we keep 6 or so bantams with our other chickens (mixed breeds, Hubby likes lots of color in his flock)for those "biscuit eggs"
