Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 1:02:27 PM I was beginning to wonder about my blue cuckoo marans but she did me proud today. A little bitty egg was in the nest, next to the larger one from my RIR. Good job, Franny!

Posted - Dec 20 2009 : 08:36:44 AM So far, Franny's eggs (all two of them) have been tiny and very pale brown. I had hoped they would be that great chocolate, terracotta color but an egg is an egg! Thanks guys!

Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 4:22:43 PM Yeah Franny! You go girl! I have heard about those Maran eggs being really pretty. My welsummer laid beautiful almost red eggs. I'm so happy for you, Kimberly. And Franny, too.
