I had Norton installed when I bough my puter and deleted it straight away. I just don't like it one bit! I now have the free AGV and it works like a charm. And yes Alee is so right, they do "fight"

Yes!! You should only have one antivirus program running at once. When one scans the files, the other thinks it is a virus searching your drive and tries to shut it down, then the first one thinks it is being attacked by a virus and tries to shut the other one down. All the while both of them are sucking up the available RAM so you computer slows to a crawl if it doesn't lock down completely.

I used Norton for about five years and finally un-installed it, even though it was paid for almost a full year. My computer ran like a slug and twice I had viruses that just disabled Norton and installed themselves.
