Hi gals,
My husband and I have been creating a magazine geared towards small town living. My husband has created an electronic format for the first issue..wanting to get input/feedback from folks on what you'd like to see in a publication of this sort.
If you'd like to see a copy of our first issue. Please email me and I will send a copy to your email box. It is a beautiful magazine and I think you all will really enjoy it.
Thanks alot.
~Tina

Tina,
I subscribe to a small magazine that features primitive artists & decor. It seems to be published in very limited quantities. The magazine, Mercantile Gatherings, is just beautiful with many photos and quality printing. It might be worth looking into. The address for the business/editorial office is Fay Stanfield (publisher), 4500 Willard West Road, Willard OH 44890. You can email them at mercantile@neo.rr.com They use a company called The Herald Printing Company for their printing. I have a phone number too, if you'd like I will send it by PM. Hope that helps!
Wish I could see your e-zine! My computer is so incredibly slow I can't open some things. Grrrr...

not I... honestly it's mostly what my husband does, he's the graphic designer in the family...and the computer guy...

my daughter and I help with proofreading, and I help gather articles of interest, and photos.

The layout and typesetting is all Paul's doing...and the name and idea was his brain child.

..but yes..it takes us working together...but he's really the top man behind it though...but we all work on it together as a family.

I love that you all love the e-zine!

Thanks gals!

It really makes our day to know that we have found a really neat niche.

We are doing some serious searching for property once again in a small town in GA.
Looking for both residential and commercial.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It really is lovely, isn't it. I haven't finished reading yet. It's my morning treat. I read it with my coffee before anyone else is awake. Thanks for the compliments! Paul and Tina have a great vision.

You can have a print copy of STL. Let the entire pdf file load. Click on the printer icon in Adobe. Be sure to use that icon, not the print button on your browser. You'll be able to print the entire issue. And when you're done reading, you can pass it along to someone who hasn't seen it yet!

Hey gal pals! Laura, I bet you had fun with those goats when you were younger; maybe they are smarter than WE are, and fake the seizures just to catch a few zzzzzs......animals are only 'dumb' because they don't speak! Tina, your mag will be world famous one day, oops, already is, apparently. Best of success to you and Paul; you truly put out a first class publication. Nance

tina one of my cousins emailed me and said he was crying reading the article remembering everything my grandmother did for all of us. This is a grown man in his early fifties and someone that doesn't cry easily. That was a response I hadn't planed on. he wants to now show all the cousins in California. You have no idea what that means I come from a hugh Portuguese Italian family if you get a lot of hits from my home town area in the middle of California that would be my family.

Hello, Nance in France. I use to have some fainting goats. When they hear a loud noise, their muscles stiffened and they fall down. When the muscles relax they get up. So see, they don't really faint. Sortof like a seizure, I guess you could say. Boy, did we have fun with those goats. Hanging out clothes , we would snap the clothes real hard just to watch the goats fall over. Or even just run over and clap our hands. Remeber we was young and stupid then. But it was so funny.

Yes, Clare. I forgot to say anything about the Robin as the author of the farmer's market article, which I found especially interesting and in depth. I'll be printing it and studying it over as I decide whether or not to try selling my daylilies again this year. Thanks, Robin! Good job! :)

Yes, VERY nice work. Let's also acknowledge Robin, of Thyme For Ewe Farm, and a very skilled writer for her two contributions to this issue. Good work, everyone.

Tina,
WOW!!! I'm with Nancy Jo on the printed copy wish....I want to hold it in my hand and turn pages and then take it home and savor it! I'm definitely going to print out the article about Sunshine(Hooray!!) and the article on selling at a farmer's market. If you ever decide to go with printing, I'm subscribing.
