Hi gals,
My husband and I have been creating a magazine geared towards small town living. My husband has created an electronic format for the first issue..wanting to get input/feedback from folks on what you'd like to see in a publication of this sort.
If you'd like to see a copy of our first issue. Please email me and I will send a copy to your email box. It is a beautiful magazine and I think you all will really enjoy it.
Thanks alot.
~Tina

WOW~this is a gorgeous magazine, Tina. I browsed it briefly but definitely need to spend some time reading every word. The photos are awesome, and you have captured the small town life, for sure. I am so impressed; I hardly know what to say.

Best of luck to you on this new venture...it is surely going to be a hit.

Are you selling them for Christmas? (hint)

We will have a Holiday issue coming out...(Dec/Jan)in a few weeks, again via electronic means until we are able to get the following:
Right now we are working on getting advertisers and will need to find a publisher/distributor for this venture.
If any of you have any good leads in this department please do let me know.
I so dearly want to see this venture really take off and soar.
Having never attempted such..it is quite the learning process.
Thanks so very much to you all for the incredible feed back!

Please visit the website at

www.stliving.net

All issues of the magazine will be posted on the website in their entirity for you to view.

It explains what we will be doing and how often... for the time being.

We are slated for the next issue to be available as an e-zine format and also sent out to emails to those of you that have expressed interest.

We are currently working on the next issue which will be a Holiday issue (Dec./Jan.) and will be available on Dec.1st.

If all goes well..we are considering the next route..to be in house publication ..but of course as you all may/may not know..undertaking something like this is not exactly cheap on the good ole pocketboook..so each step must be achieved sometimes over a wee bit of time and planning..but we definitely want to get to the next step on the ladder...

But for the time being it is offered as an e-zine format and via email.

Thank you for your understanding!

I love your magazine, Tina. The bee keeping article is a keeper! Lots of contact info! I'm planning to do that as soon as we move. Also, the 'Making a Living' article has a lot of very useful suggestions - I'll be reading that article again in depth. Much luck with this venture. I'd certainly subscribe! Thanks to you both.

Tina, gal pal, your magazine is top notch! I will definitely want to be a regular reader. Even glanced at the classifieds and saw an ad for Fainting Goats..... too funny! My first reaction was that they must be terribly high strung, like Victorian ladies all gussetted up in too tight corsets sweltering on the veranda as they plied their hands at needlework! If ya'll can stop laughing at me long enough, somebody please give me the true definition of these tin can-munching, cheesemaking, bleating four footed wonders!

What a great idea, & a great result!!
Congratulations! Will there be another issue soon? And do you have any plans for "hard copy" publishing? I think it would be a real success.
Wishing you the best of luck.....

Great job! I look forward to watching your magazine grow! Don't get discouraged. It takes time to grow a business, especially publications. My husband and I have had 9 months of publications with our Real Estate Guide in Spokane and are still in the red, but the promise of better days ahead is becoming closer and closer to a reality. This is the site for our business (just paste it in the address box of your computer) http://therealestateguide.net/area.html?areaid=6 Wishing you only the best!
