Posted - Nov 06 2011 : 08:30:12 AM we are now receiving the waste flowers from 2 grocery stores. i have been drying the roses. there is a lot of filler also. such as babys breath. wondering if there is a market for them. hate to throw them in compost. trying to figure how to use since they are not food grade. any ideas would be wonderful. or does anyone have a need. i get them once a week. sometimes 10 bunches of roses. large and small ones thanks happy days sherrye

Posted - Nov 08 2011 : 09:16:07 AM When we lived in Tennessee there were artists and jewelers who made and sold for BIG prices beads and jewelry made out of rose petals. I googled it and although it takes time it is an easy process and the beads were beautiful. They advertised it as a way to save your wedding bouquet, etc.

Posted - Nov 07 2011 : 12:31:31 PM I googled it and someone suggested rose petal soap. I bet there are folks on Etsy who would buy them to use in their soap.

Posted - Nov 07 2011 : 12:28:22 PM I have been thinking but other than potporrie I can't come up with anything. Sachets filled with them and essential oil would smell wonderful.
Did you google rose petals to see what comes up?
