we are now receiving the waste flowers from 2 grocery stores. i have been drying the roses. there is a lot of filler also. such as babys breath. wondering if there is a market for them. hate to throw them in compost. trying to figure how to use since they are not food grade. any ideas would be wonderful. or does anyone have a need. i get them once a week. sometimes 10 bunches of roses. large and small ones thanks happy days sherrye

well i have been brain storming the roses etc. so i am thinking when i was small we made beads out of ground up roses. they smelled wonderful. so one idea so far. plus i could use them as gift basket filler. maybe in potpourri with essential oils. i thought someone would have an idea oh well sherrye

When we lived in Tennessee there were artists and jewelers who made and sold for BIG prices beads and jewelry made out of rose petals. I googled it and although it takes time it is an easy process and the beads were beautiful. They advertised it as a way to save your wedding bouquet, etc.
