Posted - Feb 14 2010 : 10:58:02 AM No...I don't think I want to try the publisher route. Just a fund raiser thing for the Alternative school I work at.

Posted - Feb 12 2010 : 5:41:34 PM Are you going to self publish or go through a publishing house? I publish the Farmgirl Connection cookbook here and used lulu.com. If you plan to gotheough a publishing house I hear that it is a very difficult market unless you've got some truly original idea. Good luck!

Posted - Feb 12 2010 : 09:27:20 AM Did it for a fundraiser for our firefighters association. Typed it all in publisher. Put the pictures in there too. I had it printed and cut at Office Depot. Then used a binder to put the plastic comb binding in. It was cheaper to do the binding ourselves.
Now, if you are thinking on a much larger scale.... we only did several hundred. Made a chunk of change for the association tho!
