Posted - Jul 25 2011 : 3:31:47 PM I LOVE MaryJane's Stitching Book:)! A few years back, I used her hexagonal motif for the lacy scarf pattern and crocheted a large shawl for a petite friend of mine on the occasion of her son's wedding. It was a hit. Posted - Jul 18 2011 : 07:10:59 AM I just received a wonderful surprise! My SIL/girlfriend just gave me her copy of the stitching book! Yipee! I love it, and will be planning some projects that I found in there. She belonged to a book club and ordered it through that. Now, I have to MJF books.

Posted - Jul 07 2011 : 11:54:16 AM I love this book. I made the hexagon scarf. It is very pretty. When I need a little country in my life I just pick up one of her books and re-read them.
Happy it is, indeed, for me that my heart is capable of feeling the same simple and innocent pleasure as the peasant whose table is covered with food of his own rearing, and who not only enjoys his meal, but remembers with delight the happy days and sunny mornings when he planted it, the soft evenings when he watered it, and the pleasure he experienced in watching it’s daily growth.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce, Or a trouble is what you make it! And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts, But only--how did you take it?
