Posted - Nov 16 2009 : 07:30:18 AM considering a book about a homemade Christmas, covering food, traditons, decorations, crafts, outdoor activities, the whole Christmas experience. Or one that combines Thanksgiving and Christmas the whole holiday season. I can only imagine how beautiful and cherished a book like this would be. Truly it would be a family keepsake. No one could put into words and pictures a book like this the way MaryJane Butters could. Just a thought. I know I would love a book like this.

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 05:32:49 AM Ooo,oooo, I want one! Holiday/special events. Bonnie great idea with a section to add your own notes and photo's. I almost think there could be a collection of 4 for all the seasons. That way they can pack-em full of ideas and not have to worry too much which holiday to edit![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)

Posted - Jan 22 2010 : 5:25:06 PM I am in complete agreement. A holiday book. But how about pages in between that we can write in our own ideas, add pictures, etc. Bonnie

Posted - Jan 07 2010 : 6:08:16 PM I would agree on the gift section, it's so hard to find handmade gift ideas that do not look cheap or cheesy (especially for children to make) I love making decorations, or the idea of a Christmas tree in each room, decorated differently. Would love the book.

Posted - Nov 20 2009 : 05:28:04 AM I agree a Holiday/Special Events book would be wonderful! I'd also like to see somrthing included in each chapter/holiday on homemade gifts. Or perhaps a handbook on handmade gifts/projects for each season of the year. including patterns with stories/memnories from MJ and other farm girls, urban and rural. There is not enough basic make things books out there most are projects that you have to spend a small fortune to complete. Let's get back to basics, simplify!
