considering a book about a homemade Christmas, covering food, traditons, decorations, crafts, outdoor activities, the whole Christmas experience. Or one that combines Thanksgiving and Christmas the whole holiday season. I can only imagine how beautiful and cherished a book like this would be. Truly it would be a family keepsake. No one could put into words and pictures a book like this the way MaryJane Butters could.
Just a thought. I know I would love a book like this.

Yes Rene' exactly. I just think MaryJane would make the most wonderful book out of her ideas and her beautiful way of sharing things. I would really love to see her do something like this. I just have this special feeling about it.That it would really be a treasure for all of us to enjoy. I would just love her to give this some thought.

I'd actually like to see ALL the holidays in it. Easter can be so wonderful as well as maybe some whimsical heart projects for Valentines, and then, we can't forget the 4th! I'd love to have one!

She could put in patterns from the magazine for gift ideas, like the slippers. I would love to do more homemade gifts. The boys/gents are harder for me than the ladies. I'd buy one too.

I agree a Holiday/Special Events book would be wonderful! I'd also like to see somrthing included in each chapter/holiday on homemade gifts. Or perhaps a handbook on handmade gifts/projects for each season of the year. including patterns with stories/memnories from MJ and other farm girls, urban and rural. There is not enough basic make things books out there most are projects that you have to spend a small fortune to complete. Let's get back to basics, simplify!

I would agree on the gift section, it's so hard to find handmade gift ideas that do not look cheap or cheesy (especially for children to make) I love making decorations, or the idea of a Christmas tree in each room, decorated differently. Would love the book.

I am in complete agreement. A holiday book. But how about pages in between that we can write in our own ideas, add pictures, etc.

Ooo,oooo, I want one! Holiday/special events. Bonnie great idea with a section to add your own notes and photo's. I almost think there could be a collection of 4 for all the seasons. That way they can pack-em full of ideas and not have to worry too much which holiday to edit
