Posted - Aug 28 2015 : 09:47:15 AM Wanted to let everyone know that Emi is here!!! My water broke Wednesday morning... but no contractions. We finally came to the hospital around 7:30 that night... no contractions. They started me on pitocin around 2 Thursday morning... irregular contractions. So last night, at 1940, Emi was born via c-section, almost 36 hours after my waters ruptured! Because of how long I had been ruptured, we are both being observed for infection. So far everything looks good.

Posted - Sep 08 2015 : 06:22:13 AM Aww.. so cute. Shannon, I don't have any experience with thrush, but a friend of mine had a hard time with one of her babies, and I think she used Gentian Violet... I don't know what that is or what it does but I'm pretty sure it's the only thing that helped for her.
