Hello everyone!!!!

It has been a good day! Today is our 35th wedding anniversary. We married in the 70's. If you come to my blog you will see our wedding picture. The picture will make you smile for sure. We were real flower children.

The best part though is the love the Lord has given each of us and how we want to be committed our whole life. Tell me how long and a little about the day you got married. I love weddings and stories!!
Blessings to all you who are married. Run the race to win..........

We'll be celebrating our 23rd anniversary on Valentine's Day. We were high school sweeties before either of us could drive...then we went our separate ways for 4 years. Bumped into him at a 4th of July festival and got engaged 2 weeks later! And they said it wouldn't last...

I've been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years. We were married Sept 4, 1993. We've had our share of troubles, but we know that we are meant for each other no matter what! We have two great children- 15 year old daughter and 11 year old son. We wanted more, but that didn't work out.
I know I wouldn't be happy with anyone else in the world and he feels the same way! ( Even though we can certainly get on each others nerves!!)
When you push the world away and get down to basic living and put family first, things just seem to be better!

Seven years married, six years going together before the wedding... Still feel like "the first time" my husaband is the nicest man in the whole world, I cannot believe how considerate he is of me, he is the literal dictionary definition of "husband" I wouldn't trade him for the world.

He is my 2nd husband, the first was the exact opposite. The only problem I have is that he is always DEMANDING apple pies!

You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands - You shall be happy and it shall be well with you. -Psalm 128.2

We have been married 31 years but have been together 33. Every single member of both our families said it wouldn't last more than a couple of years. We have had alot of sadness, we lost our first child when he was 9 1/2 then we had three stillbirths. We have three beautiful grown daughters now. We have lived in several countries and moved around alot. Guess all those family members were wrong.

Embarrassing to say, my first marriage lasted 13 years, the second 2 years, and the third barely 3. Needless to say, I've made some troubling choices in my life. That's probably why I'm single and have been for 13 years. It certainly is less stressful. I would love to have a companion, but haven't found the right one yet. I do want to say that I admire those with long marriages.

My hubby and I are in our 33rd year. I was from Oregon, and he from Missouri. We met in Michigan in Bible College. I attribute all of our years together as keeping God in our marriage. We had our almost split up times. But like other things, we mellowed with age, and I am so thankful to have my best friend with me every day. Having been blessed with two beautiful daughters, and now two beautiful granddaughters. Life just doesnt get any better than that. So happy for the simple things.

We have been married 33 years as of October 9th. I have to say it has not always been happy, but, my husband and I have had a renewal in our relationship and I know with the Lord's help, we will last at least 33 more! People change over the years and we have to remember to include eachother in every area of our lives.

I'm glad to see that so many people have been married a long time. I'm sure you all just glow with happyness. :) I know a lot of people who have been divorced and have never found true love. You all are truly blessed!

25 years this coming August 16. We are planning a 10 day cooking tour in Italy to celebrate. He is my soul mate, my best friend, my lover, and the most wonderful person I know. He married me with two teenagers to finish raising, my crazy family, and all of my faults.

My DH and I were High School sweethearts - we started dating 11 years ago and will be married for 5 years on January 1, 2010. We've been through a lot together and we were so afraid that we wouldn't make it through his deployment with our sanity in tact. But we did, he's out of the military now and we have a beautiful house, a wonderful DD and are trying to expand our brood :-). Congrats to all you ladies out there, at one year or fifty years!

Today is our 7th anniversary! We spent the weekend with our little boy up in Kohler, WI. Back years ago on our honeymoon we had driven around Lake Michigan for a week and had stayed there. We had always wanted to go back and I'm glad we did. It was a lot chillier then the day we got married though, that day it was 82, today in WI it was 44! Both days were sunny and beautiful though!

I've been married 19 years. Right before our 12th anniversary, hubby landed in the hospital with cancer. Ever since then we've had our financial woes, but hey... he's ALIVE and I thank God!!!

What a wonderful photo, and just the beginning of many years together. I loved reading that post. Hubby and I were married in 1977, and so it took me back as well to those years. And by the way, your hubby had to be a REAL man to say yes to that shirt! teehee
