My mom passed this evening at 7:21. She went peacefully and is no longer suffering. I am so grateful for this. Thanks for all your kindness and well wishes. Much love to you all. She cherished each and every card and mini apron from my farmgirl friends.

Blessings to you all.

Please forgive this cross post from my blog but I dont have time to write two posts this morning. Many have kept up with what all is going on with my family so I wanted to share that I have blogged about the latest happening and appreciate all your well wishes and kindnesses more than you will know.
My blog is in my signature...love to you all. See you soon.

I have been keeping an eye on your blog since I bought some soap from you awhile back and was saddened to read about your mothers health trials. You were wonderful to stand by her side the whole time and bring her comfort. I am so sorry for your loss but am glad that your mother is no longer suffering and that her last day was a good one. Blessings and prayers.

Susan,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom but glad she is not suffering. I will keep you in my prayers. I always loved the following and hope it will bring you some comfort.
Merle

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Susan, I am so sorry, but she is in a better place, isn't she. I am glad she no longer suffers, nor her family suffering beside her.

Take the time you need to grieve her, and know that you gave all that a daughter could.

Susan -- I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Her peaceful passing is a gift to her and to you. And as you mourn, I hope that you can now celebrate her life; as difficult a life as it was, it was fraught with lessons and love for you. Do get some rest and I'm sending hugs to you and your family.

Susan ~ I went back and read through your blog some to understand what was going on before i posted. First I know that you very likely feel a mixture of numb/relieved/exhausted and grieving. I am sorry that your mom has passed, but having been down the cancer path with both my beloved grandmother and equally beloved great aunt, knowing that they are out of pain and that the end of the horrible thing has arrived, oddly is a comfort that you will return to again and again. Going through the aftermath of a family member passing is grueling. Try to get as much rest as you can. You are a brave a wonderful woman for seeing to your mom in her last months. So many would just pawn them off on a care facility of some kind. I admire you greatly.

Please take care of you and your family.
peace and blessings

I am sure for your there is relief that she is not longer in pain and yet your heart breaks because she was your mom. I am glad for every moment that you and your family got to pour your love out on her.
Peace to you and your household.
