Posted - Apr 16 2012 : 08:37:26 AM Hi everyone, I'm looking for ideas to make my urban house look more like a little farmhouse in the 'burbs. It's a two story rancher, pale green in color with dark green trim and door. It has an ugly aluminum awning over the front door.... I was thinking of adding some country gold color trim and putting some flower boxes under the two front windows. Any suggestions or ideas, please??? I just had a weather vane put up on the roof and that looks great. But I welcome any and all ideas. I can try to post a picture of my house on here, I'm not real computer savvy though, LOL
Thank you all!!

Hope this helps! Marlee

Posted - Apr 23 2012 : 5:44:24 PM How about getting an old metal toolbox repainting it robin egg blue scuffle it up a little with sandpaper to give it the " old" look and plant flowers of all different colors in it. You could probably do the same with an old metal cooler. |
