This year was my second year with my very own garden, and last year about this time, I stopped tending to it, as all the spring and summer plants were done. Are there any of you familiar with the Midwest climate who might suggest some fall or winter plants (preferably edible)that can go into the ground right about now?
Thanks, Lauren |

Posted - Sep 17 2011 : 05:21:34 AM I am in WI and I planted green beans, beets, mustard greens, carrots and lettuce for my fall garden. I put them in about 2-3 weeks ago. I think it may be too late except for spinach or lettuce.
