Stairwell housing is killing me. I hate not living out in the open an cannot wait for us to receive a new duty station. In the mean time, I wrote a bad poem that sums up my feelings. Like ta hear it? Here it goes..!!

Untitled by NES

Rolling hills alive with green-
Crisp autumn air, clear and pristine-
Trees of life, branches towering high-
Their golden leaves turned towards the sky.
These are the sights that sustain me.
The thoughts and dreams that help maintain me-
Through the crowded cities and narrow streets-
Through unending lines and rhythm n’ beats-
In a world I can no longer keep tempo to.

Nope. Not bad at all. I can feel your desire to break free from the city and run to the things that really call to you :)

I like your quote, BTW!

Najia, I don't think that poem is bad at all. I am sorry that you are feeling that way.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
