Posted - Jan 07 2009 : 4:40:11 PM I went to the site and signed up, but didn't see anything about a bumper sticker. Will it just be sent to me? I think it was a newsletter I signed up for.
Thanks for the info, Kris

Posted - Aug 21 2008 : 1:19:02 PM Hey, Julie, I just signed up! Since my husband works for the Department of Agriculture I'm hoping it stirs some discussion there. And we're planning to expand our little garden next year and be able to sell some of our crops so I'm excited to find this website. Thanks a bunch!
Mary, I hear ya, girl. So many of the subdivisions around us were family farms when I was growing up. I remember my dad talking about the subdivision that went in where his old ballfield used to be. Later it they put one in where he had his old horse-riding trail. The "(Family Name) Farm" is now the "(Family Name) Subdivision." Thanks to MaryJane and the farmgirls, we're working on plans to expand our little garden and start a truck garden next year. It's something Robbie's always wanted to do - I just wasn't as optimistic 'til now.

Posted - Aug 20 2008 : 7:13:00 PM I'll have to check it out Julie. Can you believe here in the Garden State they are trying to do away with the Dept. of Agriculture? Go figure. They want to be able to develop the land.

Posted - Jul 27 2008 : 7:06:44 PM What a great site! Thanks for sharing it with us. That is one of my concerns with SW Idaho. So much of the farmland is being turned into housing developments. It is so sad and scary at the same time. Too many just do not understand the food in the stores started out on a farm!!
