Posted - May 22 2014 : 9:17:57 PM Ok, I wonder how many of you 'golden farm girls' remember these... We called them 'peanuts'..
My sweet baby girl lived in them all summer long.(1970's).. I wish I could find them now to buy for my sweet grand~girles ... but I don't think anyone makes them anymore...

Posted - May 27 2014 : 08:15:48 AM you know, I should try to 'create' a pattern,,,, we called them 'peanuts' cuz,,, the shape reminded me of "Mr Peanut'... the dapper chap w/top hat, cane and monical...that represented the Planters peanut company... sooo, hmmm, I wonder if there are any old patterns out there or...if I could find one (wishful thinking) I could trace and copy... MY daughter was a master it popping out of hers when she had to go tinkle... lol!

Posted - May 25 2014 : 07:49:50 AM I do remember them and they were a nuisance when one of my daughters had to go potty. You can make them. I didn't know that they were called peanuts either. Laurie

Posted - May 25 2014 : 04:27:58 AM I didn't wear them due my parents thoughts on clothing but I did put my girls in them and yes I agree they were a pain when they had to use the potty. Never knew they were called Peanuts though.

They were so cute and comfortable. I didn't know they were called "Peanuts" though.
