Posted - Aug 23 2013 : 12:23:17 PM I am looking for Sandalwood and Pitchouli oils to put in a burner (like a tea light burner) but I don't want those fake smells of buying them in department store candle warmer cubes. SO, my first question: Can I burn these as scent oils and my second, where do you buy your EOs? Thanks! hugs Jessie![](icons/icon_smile_tongue.gif)

Posted - Aug 26 2013 : 7:22:30 PM I like Herb Pharm EOs. I get them at my herb shop. Laurie's advice is spot on. |

Posted - Aug 26 2013 : 5:15:09 PM I usually order from Mountain Rose Herbs, Nature's Sunshine, New Sun. I have been looking at Be Young EOs recently (more as a business opportunity)--I have heard lots of good things about their oils.

Posted - Aug 25 2013 : 6:58:35 PM Jessie, Just be careful buying from Whole foods or any natural food store for that matter if you want pure essential oil. Just because it says it on the bottle does not mean it is. There is no requirement and companies can actually add 90% carrier oil and 10% of what you want and still call it 100% pure. If it is too good of a deal they have carrier oil. If it feels like oil it has a carrier. Maybe for scents it does not matter as much. You'll have to decide, but just so you know.

Posted - Aug 23 2013 : 6:42:36 PM Jessie, if you just want a small amount, Whole Foods carries EO's. I do buy them there sometimes, but buy a lot from Brambleberry.

Posted - Aug 23 2013 : 3:03:22 PM I am a Young Living essential oil consultant, so I get mine through them... they are expensive compared to some, but pure. For scent purposes, I put my EO in diffusers... |
