I am looking for Sandalwood and Pitchouli oils to put in a burner (like a tea light burner) but I don't want those fake smells of buying them in department store candle warmer cubes. SO, my first question: Can I burn these as scent oils and my second, where do you buy your EOs?
Thanks!
hugs
Jessie

I am a Young Living essential oil consultant, so I get mine through them... they are expensive compared to some, but pure. For scent purposes, I put my EO in diffusers...

Hey Jessie,

We purchase ours though a few different places:

http://www.wellingtonfragrance.com/

http://www.brambleberry.com/

http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/

https://www.thesage.com/

I'm sorry that I can't answer your question. I'm sure someone here might know, or you could ask under the herbal section?

Thank you for all of the suggestions! I really appreciate it. I am not new to the idea of EO, but new to using them myself. :)

Jessie have you tried Spark Naturals? I buy from there and it's really reasonable and the quality is great!

Jessie, if you just want a small amount, Whole Foods carries EO's. I do buy them there sometimes, but buy a lot from Brambleberry.

Jessie, Just be careful buying from Whole foods or any natural food store for that matter if you want pure essential oil. Just because it says it on the bottle does not mean it is. There is no requirement and companies can actually add 90% carrier oil and 10% of what you want and still call it 100% pure. If it is too good of a deal they have carrier oil. If it feels like oil it has a carrier. Maybe for scents it does not matter as much. You'll have to decide, but just so you know.

I usually order from Mountain Rose Herbs, Nature's Sunshine, New Sun. I have been looking at Be Young EOs recently (more as a business opportunity)--I have heard lots of good things about their oils.

I like Herb Pharm EOs. I get them at my herb shop. Laurie's advice is spot on.

Young Living oils are the best. I do not sell them, but use them a lot.
