Thought we'd start sharing some of the pics and narratives of our adventures as we trek across the state of Colorado on our Farmgirl Adventures!

However, we're NOT going to share it all with you all at once . . if ya' wanna know more ya' have to check back for the latest pics and updates on our adventures.

This first pic is of four of the members of FARMGIRLS SOUTHWEST HENHOUSE . . having a wonderful lunch at "The Pantry" in Green Mountain Falls, CO. Robin and I were visiting Debbie and Marilyn in the Florissant/Divide, CO area.

Robin waiting with me for the "surprise package" that Debbie and Marilyn has planned for us. Nope, we had no clue!

More waiting for the "surprise package" pictures . . only Debbie and Marilyn joined us.

Robin and I at Debbie's house outside of Florissant, in the "shade" of Pikes Peak with her "girls". Gracie is the sweet golden retriever in front on the deck. In my lap is Bella (the black doxie) and Heidi (the lighter reddish one who is mom to the other two). Robin is holding Holly who has a very funky hairdo and a blonde highlight streak up the front of her face. We thought she'd look so cool with styling putty in her hair to spike it!

Okay, FARMGIRLS . . . you'll have to check back for more because there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more!!

We have had the BESTEST FUN . . . LAUGHTER GALORE!!!

And, finally, the t-shirt "wardrobe" take-aways that will remind us of the matters of the heart that gave us purpose for part of this adventure. One big part of this adventure was the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains event where we worked a crew. 10 year anniversary for the event!

I just LOVE this . . . speaks volumes!!!!

Our crew was a Quick Stop and the theme was "Apple Stand" which was represented by my family's farm and orchard. This is the back of our shirts.

The BEST thing about meeting and spending time with other farmgirls is just that . . TIME! The chatter, the laughter, the fun things shared, the meals together . . . I can't describe how much it means to me. PRECIOUS!!! PRICELESS!!

The little "take-away" treasures are just things, but they are sweet reminders of the TIME and the FARMGIRL it came from.

Because I'm the "barefoot farmgirl from southwest Colorado" Marilyn gave me these barefoot sandals! We laughed but I kinda like them because I can hardly feel them, of course there is no sole and I can glam up my farmgirl feet a bit!

Debbie blessed us with little patriotic themed baskets with a cute doily, patriotic pie shaped ceramic dish, a little flag . . a popper and some candy. The red and white doily is also a gift from Marilyn.

Tammy was very aware of Robin and I and our "glamping" adventures so she gave us each a set of cool vintage camping trailer cards and made us each a BEAUTIFUL tag. She also gave us some coffee from San Francisco which we enjoyed on our glamping trip.

Lavendar sachet from Laurie. She said they have about 500 lavendar plants so she makes sachets and allowed us to each pick one. Ahhhh, glorious scent!!

We were "rifling" through all the goodies in Rain's studio and I won't even attempt to describe that experience. In one of the drawers she had some old earrings that she made and used to wear. This was a pair of clipons and she gave me ONE . . it is a "soul sister" earring . . she has the other one!

THANK YOU to my farmgirl sisters . . and all of these girls are members of the FARMGIRLS SOUTHWEST HENHOUSE!
YOU ROCK!

We were treated royally all along the way . . . it was so nice to experience everyone's hospitality.

It was cherry season in the Paonia/Hotchkiss area . . . and we brought some sweet, juicy, delectable "rubies" home too.

A hit were Rain's pickled green beans and she sent us home with a few jars. They are just awesome!

Our evening at the Klepper home is about to draw to a close . . . and we will be headed back home the next day.

Jewel and Rain hard at it with something Rain was showing Jewel on her computer (Pooh-Bear belongs to Wyatt)

Rain's hubby, Gary, did the most wonderful meatloaf and zucchini on the grill and together the two of them made all of us the most fabulous, tasty dinner at their home.
THANKS GARY and RAIN!!!!
