Posted - Sep 03 2011 : 3:31:24 PM Today on my road I had to slow down and stop for a doe and her two fawns, a red fox darted in front of me on a sharp blind corner, and just when I thought I was out of the traffic a porcupine decided he had to get to the other side of the road causing me to have to slow way down as he took his own sweet time to cross. And here we are at the beginning of a holiday week-end you would think they could plan their trips on my road better.

Posted - Sep 04 2011 : 7:30:35 PM That was a sweet post. We get mostly deer, an occasional rabbit and roadrunners. I'll never forget the time I came around the bend to find a whole herd of deer just socializing with each other in the middle of the road. (Maybe they were all lost and refused to ask directions) They made quite a few of us slow down.

Posted - Sep 03 2011 : 8:03:28 PM Sounds like my road here. Always something wanting to be on the other side. You have to watch those behind you though. They are worse than what's in front.
