I've been mostly gone from here since I quit my job in March and went to work on our old farmhouse-didn't know if we'd sink or swim financially. But things are ok and I'm thankful for that for sure! So I'm passing on my gratitude by sponsoring three new sisters. Who out there isn't in the sisterhood yet? There are so many new women here. I've got two more days in the special deal Brian sent out for election day on Nov. 4. So let me hear from three of you in the next two days and I'll be your Sisterhood sponsor.

Janice that was such a sweet offer! I'm going to try to convince my husband that this would be a wonderful christmas gift for me. Of course, I can always just get it for myself and tell him to count it as a gift too... ;)

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

You ladies are all very welcome! I'm one of those slackers who haven't done much towards earning badges yet. But I'm determined to move from my farmhouse(should be ready by spring-finally) to doing more in this henhouse! :)

Thanks for the welcome, Diane. I had actually not noticed that "sisters" had the hexagon logo . . . I need to pay more attention to details!! Sheesh, that's embarrassing. Looking forward to the fun and quite touched by Janice's kindness.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Dear Janice,
When I grow up I wanna be just like you! You are such a blessing to our new sisters and to all of us. You give me something to work on to be able to do this for others as you have. What a wonderful RAOK! May you be truly blessed for your giving . Proud to call you Sister and friend !
Hugs,
Kristy

Laura, Robin, Marianne, Marian, Tracy and Patricia - I've just spoken with Brian at MJF and taken care of your sisterhood memberships. I hope I just managed to send you all emails. It's been a bad day for my computer access here. Technology is not my bff. I think the computer knows I feel threatened. :) You'll all get your sisterhood info sent directly to you. I have a very clear memory of the days(not so far in the past) when a treat for the woman of the family was just never in the budget. We always put ourselves last. So I just wanted to do a small RAOK for a few of my forum sisters.

Okay, here I am. I did work one day this week. My antique mall asked me to work on Mondays. I spend more than I make, though. I counted four names here. They are: Laura, Robin, Marianne and Marian. I only have tomorrow to join you four up, so if you would just send me the following information, I'll get the ball rolling: Your names and mailing addresses and your email addresses. Just email me through the forum and I'll join you four ladies up. Remember, we only have through tomorrow, the 30th. of November. So let me hear from you. Hooray for the Sisterhood!

Diane - Thanks for your offer. I'm taking the four above ladies. And Rue Ann, I almost missed her.

Rue Ann - I'll take you as well, if you would like. I'd be happy to include you. There's always room for one more. :)

Becoming an official sisterhood member lets you: get the Cluck newsletter, apply for badges, get special offers from the farm...just a few of the perks of being official! You get a # and a packet with goodies including your hen badge.
