Just wanted to let you all know that if you are anywhere near Torch, Ohio on August 26th at 2:00 p.m., there will be an auction of 700 bolts of fabric and an entire store of notions and related sewing stuff. I know I should be keeping this information to myself...but I just had to share. Need to start hoarding my egg money!

I don't know if any of you were at this auction, so here's what I got....
2 - 26 yard bolts of "cheater" fabric panels(1 purples and pinks & 1 pastel Indian print)
200 spools of white thread
500 felt squares in all colors
100 yards of waistband elastic - 50 white & 50 black
50 yards of multicolored lace trim
100 = 12 x 12 beige cotton squares serged all the way around and 200 12 x 12 lace panels &
1000 yards of 2 inch wide white muslin fabric rolled on a spool.
all of this for $36.00.....that's right...$36.00....
just thought I'd brag a minute...lol

I'm far from Ohio, but it sounds like fun.
Watch out though, auctions can get crazy high sometimes.
Depending on the bidders, it can get to a place where the best price doesn't even matter anymore, it's about who gets the winning bid, no matter what price!

Thanks for the info. Torch is around 2 hrs from me. Too bad it's an afternoon auction though. I wouldn't be able to be there and here for the kids to get off the bus. Bid well and think of me when you win.
