Posted - May 17 2010 : 08:50:52 AM Hi Ladies! I thought it would be really fun to do one random act of kindness each day and post here what it was. Weather it is making someone smile, or saying a prayer for someone you see and you don't even know them. Anyone in with me?!? Hugs!! Channah![](icons/icon_smile.gif) ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Jun 03 2010 : 8:38:39 PM Pam - like the note idea. I have a feeling if I did that I might come off as creepy. However this weekend when we go to our usual place for Chinese food I am bringing the server cupcakes - she is always nice!

Posted - Jun 03 2010 : 3:19:17 PM I worked over time all week so I haven't been on the computer at home much. My RAOK for today was helping an older lady carry her groceries to her car. Diane, the memorial garden is lovely. How lucky your friend is to have you in her life.

Posted - Jun 01 2010 : 11:33:32 AM Diane - lovely. My parents both have memorial garden's for my sister, I think it is my time to try my own.
A few days late in posting but on Sunday I gave our neighbor's dog a treat. He is a rather large pit bull who is really friendly. I started buying treats to give him when I see them out side. I got lots of puppy love from him!

Posted - May 30 2010 : 5:43:43 PM Thank you Pam, it made me feel great to know that people out there realize that us waiters, waitresses are real people too!! And we do have feelings. |

Posted - May 29 2010 : 8:50:49 PM I like to leave little notes at the grocery store, coffee shop or restaurant I go to. I leave it with the tip. I was recently at a dessert bar and the people behind us were horrible to the waiter. I grabbed one of my little cards and when we paid the bill I left him a tip with a wonderful quote for the day. I hope it cheered him up. |

Posted - May 28 2010 : 6:12:53 PM Finished the memory garden for my girlfriend's recently deceased step-son. It was a bare spot in the yard, they are going to put sod around it this weekend. It will be a nice place for his brother's to remember him. We are going to do a little project with the boys and have them help make a stepping stone with some of Brett's memorabilia in it.

Posted - May 25 2010 : 08:24:50 AM You gals are such blessings to those around you!
Ruth, I sure hope so :) I just love doing random things like this. Sometimes I will leave a jar of jam or jelly in our mailbox and put the little red flag up :) In the winter time when I know we are expecting a parcel from UPS or FedEx my husband will make Cappuccinos for them :)
Diane, I look forward to seeing pictures of the memory Garden, what a very special gift.

Posted - May 25 2010 : 04:47:21 AM I'm a day late in posting.... Yesterday I sent off a couple of RAOK's. My youngest wanted to go spend the night with her dad so I let her. And I took my other two children out for dinner and ice cream.

Posted - May 24 2010 : 11:38:52 AM Sharon, What a special thing to do for the WalMart greeter, I'm sure you made her day a much brighter one! I sent a homemade pillowcase to a young friend (4 yr old) in Colorado this morning. Met his mom on MJF site! Love the inspiration from MaryJane's Farm girls! Hugs, Ruth
