My middle name is Fialka...I've never rally liked it, but in the last few months I've found that it is Russian for Violet... which is really my favorite little wild flower
My grandmother on my mother's side was Urania Rose and I had an aunt Minerva and aunt Theva...so odd names do seem to run on my mama's side of things....Dad's side is all old fashioned and prim names =)

OK gals, I don't have a middle name! It was tough growning up because everyone thought I had one that was so bad I wouldn't tell them. When I got my drivers license for middle name it had (NMN).(for: NO MIDDLE NAME) You would not believe the people that would ask me how to pronounce it! When I married I took my maiden name as my middle name, SO I now have a middle name! YEA! My oldest sister got a middle name and my middle sister and I didn't get one!

Wow I must say I have seen more Jean's on here than I have ever meet in person. My middle name is Jean, it is the same as my mothers and strangly enough she was named after my grandmothers first husband (who is not my mom's father)

Hi! I actually go by my middle name as well-Christine! My first name is Anna, I was named after my grandmother on my dad's side. Well, partly, her name was Anna Gertrude. I have to admit, I like Christine better than Gertrude! lol

My middle name is actually Kay. My first name is Stephenie - after my father (both of my sisters and I were named after men in our family). I've never used that name and that only time I've every heard it is when I was in trouble. Actually, it's so bad that once they had to give me anesthesia for some oral surgery and although I could hear them calling me (by my first name), I didn't respond at all. They had to get my mom to come in and talk to me so I'd do what they wanted.

Mine is ANN. My daughters is Marie, my 2 granddaughters are Ann (the oldest) and Marie (the youngest). My daughter wanted them to have our middle names.

Well, I don't have a middle name. My name is Mary Jane. It should be hyphonated or put together. But, I just never do it.
I was named after my Irish great grandma who raised my Mom. Mary Jane Kelly.

Mine is Beverly but when people ask what the B stands for I usually say Best as my mom new I would always be the best, then because I can't tell a lie I always say it's Beverly it was my moms middle name, when she married my dad she dropped it and used her maiden name Nimsker as her middle name.

Whenever I read your name, Channah, I say the ch sound and then Anna only I say it like onna. So the way I say it, it would probably be spelled Chonna. I'm probably not saying it right:) But I still like the name!

My middle name is Ellen. My Grandma Smith's was Ellen, also. She was Mamie Ellen and I am sort of glad they did not name me Mamie.

Thanks Megan. Alot of people think it is Sh-annah or Jhannah, but it sounds like Hannah. :) It's just the hebrew spelling.

Channah, to answer your question, my middle name Kathleen is Irish for pure. My whole name, Megan Kathleen, means a pure pearl. Megan is Welsh for pearl, and obviously Kathleen is Irish for pure.

My middle name is Delaine ..... so is my mother's, my eldest daughter's, and the older of my brother's twin girls. Basically, it's the middle name of all of the eldest daughters.
