...when your job isn't paying you on time? I should have had my money last week Wednesday! It is now Friday, just before the weekend and the money STILL is not in. I could not even go to work yesterday, didn't have the bus fare anymore :(
I called him, he said that they would put it in my account extra speedy, HAHAHA :( What a joke!! Extra speedy means overnight here, so it should have been here today! I just checked and nope!! So now I am completely broke, not one penny to my name, not able to pay my rent, gas, electricity etc. No groceries, no food, no food for Elvis, no nothing!! I AM MAD AS H***
I am gonna call him again in half an hour and ask what he thinks I should do about the no food, if HE is gonna pay my rent etc. If HE is gonna buy me groceries. Like I said it is the weekend.
NOT FUNNY!!!!!
I just needed to vent. I am up to my EYEBALLS in stress, not good for me. Am not even able to put milk in my coffee, which BTW is also gone after this morning.

LOL I just checked, and it is NOT in my account yet. But at least it is on it's way!!
The sun is out already, and it gonna be a glorious day again. Am I bad that I even start to "like" this?? SORRY!! Not that I like the idea of not having money ofcourse, but just the idea of it happening while the sun is out instead in the gloomy winter days?? Another day at home, enjoying this sun :)
BUT HOPE TO BE ABLE TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!
That would mean my money arrived in my account YAY!!

When I started my job about 40 years ago, we got paid every 2 weeks. But, because we were new we were told we had to work 2 pay periods before we would get our first check. It was a very long month. At the end of it we were told oh no not this pay period, you have two weeks to go, after all there is a lot of paper work and we hired 50 people. Now I'm retired and get paid every month, That is hard. I do work a job a few days a week and I get paid every two weeks, it's not much but it helps. I hope you never have to go through that again.

No, if I get it in my account it will be in the afternoon tomorrow. SO will be home tomorrow and get to work by bus on Wednesday YAY!!
Thanks gals (sisters ) for ALL the support and prayers and advice. I SO hope I never have to go through this ever again!!
I got a confirmation letter today, from one of my job applications. They had received the letter, PTL!
SO on to the next stage, lol.
BUT at least these money problems are as good as solved YAY!!!!!

I am so happy that you got this all resolved. I was just reading through your post this morning. What a terrible thing to happen. I know what you are going thorugh. I had a check sent to Virginia 2 months ago. I live in Nebraska. What a mess it was.

Update 2.
I just called work. Boss man had called his bosses and they told him:
The money is transferred to bank account LAST Friday NIGHT!!!!
SO meaning: It was not be handled before TODAY!
Meaning: it will take a few days before it is IN my account.(different banks)
Meaning:I will NOT work the rest of the week, as it was a short week anyway.
Meaning: next time less money :(
And I will have to see wether it really WILL be in my account.
Somehow I don't trust them.....DUH!!
GGGGGRRRRR!!!!
On the plus side: the weather is gorgeous, so a few days to enjoy, lol
Better look at the bright side now, because else I will go stir crazy!!!!!

I am praying for you, Dutchy. I have been where you are before. You are right. It is so aggravating, disgusting, disheartening.... when this sort of thing happens. I sure hope the boss man gets your money to you asap!

Just called: boss will look into it.....AGAIN!! He told me he will call me back asap. HA!! I won't hold my breath It won't be in my account today, so will HAVE to see wether it is there tomorrow!!

Sweetie - I'm so sorry that you're still having problems. Please let us know what you find out. I certainly wouldn't go back either until I got paid. I left a job after 2 weeks because I found out that every time they wrote payroll checks there wasn't enough money in the bank to cover them. We'd get paid and then have to rush to the bank to cash it and hope there was money in the account.
I'll be praying that you get your money today.

SO. Now it is Monday. Just called my bank AND checked online: STILL NO MONEY!!!!!
I am NOT going to work today again, can't afford it BUT it is also the principle of the thing now!!
I won;t go in until they payed me my money due.
I AM P****D!! I am sad, I am mad, I am stressed out.
I don't know WHAT to do anymore!!
I will call work at 8.45 to see what they will try to tell me now. I bet they will say "it is transferred and should be in your account soon".
WELL heck for them. Until I have my money I will not go. I know it is ME that will suffer the most because my paycheck will be lower come next time. But even THAT is worth it.
Like I said, I am mad as heck right now.
That is ONE job I will never ever work for again, never in my whole life! Also I will spread the word, one way or the other.
I know of some former co-workers who had to quit because they didn't get their money on time last month. I was not in the position to say anything at that time because I was not due any money yet. But now it seems they ALL got payed on time, except me the newbie. If they think they can treat a newbie this way, they are oh so wrong!!
Sorry for venting and sounding so mad and sad, but I can't stand this injustice.
It is MY money, I worked for it so I deserve to be payed the little I am due. Even if it would be $100,00 or something like that I don't care. I worked for it and they ought to pay to keep their employees "happy".
PLUS bonuses, PLUS travel allowance.

It always seems when things are bad, as long as you have food there is always a light at the end of the tunel. It's when the food disappears that things look grim....I've been thinking about you and saying a prayer for you for days...hope all of them are helping!

Nope, laws here work differently.
But I am keeping myself thinking positive thoughts today. I just pray my money will be in my account Monday :)

Hi Marian, I am so sorry this has happened. It is so stressful. The economy is bad, but that is certainly no excuse. Honestly, if he can't pay his employees, he should do layoffs. At least then you are free to look for a new job and you qualify for unemployment. To simply withhold your wages is illegal. Your state should have some type of "Fair Labor" board that you can file a complaint with. Any unpaid bills, overdrafts, etc. I believe your employer would be held responsible for. Keep us posted . . . You are in my prayers.

Marian, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope that it gets staightened out soon and that you get your pay in a more timely manner or that you find an even better job. This makes me mad too! Companies should not treat their employees this way, it's not right. Please Marian, if there is something I can do to help, let me know. You are in my prayers. I like the idea of having a fund to help out when things like this happen. It could happen to any of us in these times. We all just have to stick together.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. This has happened to me in the past as well, only I recieved a check, brought it to the bank to be cashed and the poor teller would try numerous accounts of my employer's only to find no money! I should have known better when the Electric Company was about to shut their power. I ended up leaving, life is stressful enough without getting paid for a job well done.
I will be praying for the Lord to bring you a wonderful job, with even better pay and benefits (and get paid).

I never ever read my SPAM ofcourse, it goes into my trash straight away . But it seems that today ALL the spam I received has been about money, lol. About expanding loans, about `receiving` extra money, about `winning the lottery´ etc etc.
DUH!! Of all days!!
