Posted a picture of a little sampler I found years ago in a book. I bet some little girl made it.
Baked a choc. pudding whipped cream cake this morning. I should feel pretty woozy later on today. As you can see I already had a taste to make sure its safe for the family to eat.

Nancy, I am glad to see someone else that taste tests the food before feeding it to the family. My kids were in high school before they got a whole candy bar. They still talk about it. When they were little and money was tight, I would buy 3 candy bars and then I'd take a little bite of each one (getting my chocolate fix) then tell them it was OK to eat.

Yes that little sampler is cute. I wonder if they had a pattern or did it free hand, if I had to do it free hand it would be a stick person at best.

Nancy Jo, that is the sweetest little sampler, and how nice you were the lucky one to find it. That cake looks pretty good too. I have been making nine patch blocks until my brain started to go under. Time for more coffee.
