I was just cleaning out a drawer that I keep some of my older ones in, and was reminded how much I like them. I can usually only find them at garage sales, so this summer I will be looking. I posted a picture.

I love those booklets, too, Nancy Jo. The colors and art are so nice. And I think my favorite is one I got from you, the first time you had your sale drawers. It's about 500 ways to fix an egg! It's so great! :)

i just realized that I didn't mention that I love old cookbooks. I love ones from the 50's that have pictures of the "perfect" housewife oh they make me smile!

tracy, you mentioned that you are the cookbook queen...i to think that of myself. At last count I had over 200.... I have been going through them and will soon be willing to let some go....hmmmmm maybe time to have a cookbook swap?

I love old cookbooks too - my favorite is a community/church cookbook from about 1935 in Missoula. You just get a sense of history from them, they are definitely getting harder to find.

Oh my gosh! I am the cookbook QUEEN!!! I have cookbooks from 1912 on up. My favorites are the 20's-40's though, and I have quite a few from those eras. I have so many that my cupboard won't hold them all, so sadly, it's time to downsize. I will be going through them and passing some along to others. But it's so HARD to choose which ones to keep and which to let go!!! sigh....
