I was just cleaning out a drawer that I keep some of my older ones in, and was reminded how much I like them. I can usually only find them at garage sales, so this summer I will be looking. I posted a picture.

Oh my gosh! I am the cookbook QUEEN!!! I have cookbooks from 1912 on up. My favorites are the 20's-40's though, and I have quite a few from those eras. I have so many that my cupboard won't hold them all, so sadly, it's time to downsize. I will be going through them and passing some along to others. But it's so HARD to choose which ones to keep and which to let go!!! sigh....

I love old cookbooks too - my favorite is a community/church cookbook from about 1935 in Missoula. You just get a sense of history from them, they are definitely getting harder to find. Amy Grace

i just realized that I didn't mention that I love old cookbooks. I love ones from the 50's that have pictures of the "perfect" housewife oh they make me smile!

I love those booklets, too, Nancy Jo. The colors and art are so nice. And I think my favorite is one I got from you, the first time you had your sale drawers. It's about 500 ways to fix an egg! It's so great! :)
