I just finished my homemade Christmas cards for the exchange!!!!

My pen pal, Ann, has totally inspired me. She has already sent me a Thanksgiving and Christmas card that she made herself. So I went to Michael's yesterday and got all the things to make some. It took hours to do but was so fun! I haven't done this in years.

So thank you , Ann, for getting me off my butt and inspiring me to get busy on handmade this year. I think I'll even make some for the family, too!

Such a treat to find Christmas cards in my mailbox, I am going to hang them off my mantel this year I think, the kitchen has gotten too crowded for my usual display area. ,,,, I love digging out all the decorations we've made or collected over the years.

Yes, isn't it great to see something else in the mailbox instead of bills and junkmail??

I have gotten quite a few as well, and sent most. Now just a few more to send and then I am done with the MJF list, lol.

Oh, I am getting cards daily, how fun is this? A garland is a great idea, I never thoutht of that. I have the perfect place in the large open doorway between my living room and dining room. I will even post a pic when I get it done. Thank you everyone for the lovely thoughts and hugs you have sent! Hope you all enjoy the jar openers.

I've gotten 4 so far and I sent out my first batch today. I'll have another batch ready after the weekend, hopefully. This is a big weekend, my annual cookie exchange! And on Saturday I'll be going to the Renegade Craft Fair with some friends. Fun!

I've gotten 3 cards as of Wednesday! This is so much fun - thanks for organizing this, Dutchy! **hands clapping**

Kristin, I'd bought some cards since I didn't think I'd have time to make any. But after receiving Ann's card and then reading your post, I thought I'd give it a shot. I worked on them for a few hours last night while hubby was out with a friend. They're about half done so I think they'll be done by the end of the week. Yay!!!

God bless -
