It has come to my attention that I have offended many farmgirls on this forum. I am not sure why or how as no one came to me personally but I have offended them nonetheless. I don't have the names of these farmgirls so I cannot make ammends to them myself. I never meant to hurt anyone. It has been a very, very hard year for my family. If I missed a swap or took too long to complete a barter I am truly sorry. It was not my intention at all to offend any of you. You are my farm girl heroes.
If any of the farmgirls that I have offended had come to me personally I would have made it right. I was not given that opportunity.. Now I just feel ashamed and embarrassed that I hurt people here.
I am leaving the forum. I will complete my 1 outstanding barter (shawl is almost done Sage!) and the teabag swap and recipe swap. I will get those done this week.. And Sharon your dvd will go out too.
Please know that I enjoyed my time here. You are all amazing women! I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know you through this medium.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all without knowing it helped me to get through a rough year when I had no family by my side. I met a few local people through MJF that was a blessing to me..
God bless you all!

Boy, I miss getting on here for a few days and look what happens!

Debra, I don't know of anything you have ever done or said that was offensive in any way, either. I'm so glad you reconsidered and that you are staying. Whatever happened on here, I sure hope it gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoy your postings, stories and recipes and everything.

Hi Debra,
I have been gone for a few days, and just sat reading all of this thread. I am so glad you have decided to stay. I do very clearly remember the situation Autumn is speaking of. She made an innocent mistake. What made it a problem was the other lady venting on the forum rather than dealing directly with her. She aired their private problem publicly, which I felt was very unfair to Autumn. Anyway, if that has happened to you, I would like to stand in the gap and apologize for those farmgirls that did that. There is a passage in the bible that talks about dealing with issues. If you have something against your brother (. . . er, farmgirl sister . . .) you go to them directly. If it still cannot be resolved, you then bring another along beside you. It is only after you have tried both of these courses of action that you would finally bring it to the congregation (the forum). For people to complain on the forum without speaking to you first is just wrong. So whether you may have mis-spoke or let someone down in any way, is rather beside the point. Speaking ill of someone without going to that person first is wrong. Plain and simple. I hope that those who may have done this, will learn from this experience for the future. They wouldn't want to be "trashed" on a public forum, so for them to do it to another is awful. I am so glad Autumn came back to us and so sorry she had to endure this. A true farmgirl, I believe has a spirit of love and tolerance and wants to build one another up. So happy you are staying!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

Debra! Don't go! I just came back from the weekend and I am surprised or 'shocked' if you will that you'd go. I am sure anyone would understand if you have been behind on any swaps or what not. You are human! I hope you reconsider. (I haven't read to the end of this posting either...)

Hello Debra, I just dropped in to read this thread and I am glad you are staying...There aren't that many of us from NV and I am just up the road in Sparks from you, off Vista Blvd. I don't know your story and I sure don't know that you have offended anyone here, but I do know that life can sure get in the way of good intentions. I am more than sure that what ever it is that YOU are feeling like you have let down can be restored and done or sent at another time and it will be just the right timing. We all have times that just get ahead of us and it sounds like this is one for you...we all understand. Don't give up, never give up. From all the comments here, it sounds like you need to be here for others as well as for yourself. Don't let the enemy of our soul whisper in your ear anymore!!You are worthy and you are not a bad person, give yourself mercy and grace that you would extend to anyone else. I look forward to getting to know you, so come often...Debbie

Debra, just got back online after being away from my computer for a few days and found this thread.

I'm not familiar with the issues that caused you to consider leaving, but wanted you to know that I am very glad you have decided to stay.

You were brave to put your posting out there. We all do the best we can and yet sometimes we can still offend or hurt others, or let them down.

Hopefully, you'll be able to resolve the issues with those involved.

Jo

Yay! Debra, I'm so glad you're staying and so honored that you put your intentions out there instead of fading off into the sunset. So many times in my past people have just faded out, especially at different churches I've attended. They don't address the issue - they just don't come back. Your courage to put your feelings and thoughts out here on the board is inspiring. And now you know just how much the farmgirls care about you. So glad you're staying and looking forward to getting to know you better.

God bless -
Karen

Dear Farmgirls,
I am very humbled by all of your sweet responses to me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will stay.. truthfully I would miss you all.
Again, I do want to say- that if anyone has had a bad dealings with me regarding a swap or barter please email me privately- I would like to be given the opportunity to make it right. It has been a crazy year and I don't remember everyone- though there hasn't been many. I never intended to hurt anyone. As a Christian I do believe that "I will be known by my doings." So I do try very hard to treat all people as I would want to be treated. The Bible says "give and it will come back to you, pressed down-shaken together and running over." I see many of you all believe the same thing. I believe we have all tried to live our lives in this manner. I believe you will all be blessed beyond measure.
thank you all again. hugs to you all..

Blessings, Debra
